On July 14, 2014 we arrived at the Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, New York for a four day celebration of our 60th wedding anniversary. We were accompanied by three daughters (with husbands), four of seven grandchildren (one with his wife) and dear friend Marilyn. This is what the whole gang looked like. From left to right: Travis, Aimé, Claude, Tom, Kristen, Dana, Marilyn, Henry, Stephanie, Béa, Bebe, Leslie, Howie and Blaise.
Our days were spent hiking and biking the miles of paths and carriage trails. Travis and Aimé did some guided rock climbing. Others used the canoes, kayaks, rowboats and paddleboards. Here are Leslie and Bebe balanced on two feet!
Three meals every day included a picnic at the Granary and elaborate Buffets in the dining room.
A few of the hundreds of camera, i-Phone and i-Pad photos collected include Béa & Kristen, Bebe & Marilyn, Blaise & Leslie and Kristen & Tom.
Evenings always began on the Sunset porch before descending on the dinning room.
On our last evening we were serenaded by Dana, Claude and Aimé – “Forever I’ll love that woman” – “Toujours j’aimerai cette femme”
